Dr. Christopher Funk

Dr. Christopher Funk is an accomplished Emergency and Sports Medicine Medical Officer who has served over 23 years with the Canadian Armed Forces. His experience and specialties within Canadian Special Operations Forces Command, have served him well on numerous overseas deployments. An expert in Emergency Medicine and Remote Damage Control Resuscitation, Dr. Funk has also become an expert in Sports and Regenerative medicine focusing on Platelet Rich Fibrin injections for the treatment of osteoarthritis and musculotendon injuries. When he is not practicing, teaching or deploying, Dr. Funk enjoys an active lifestyle with a lifelong interest in physical health and values spending time with his wife and 2 beautiful daughters.
