Badreddine is a bilingual physiotherapist who graduated from McGill University with a BSc in Kinesiology, before completing his Master’s of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa. Throughout his undergraduate and professional studies, he occupied different student therapist roles with various varsity teams and provided coverage for regional and national sporting events. He was also the representative for the University of Ottawa with the Sport Physiotherapy Canada Ontario committee.
Badreddine has experience working with professional and recreational athletes alike. He has a passion for soccer and running, and has worked with Atletico Ottawa’s first team and their U23 squad, as well as other soccer clubs in the community.
Badreddine views physiotherapy through the lens of strength and athleticism, no matter your age or your background. This philosophy has guided his career and forms the treatment approaches he uses today. Strength training and conditioning have become an essential part of every treatment plan. This allows him to take injured athletes through the entire process of rehabilitation, from initial management to full return to sport. This approach has become important over the years in guiding many young athletes through the challenging process of recovering from an ACL surgery.
Badreddine is also a certified concussion physiotherapist who can help patients navigate this often difficult process, He has completed post-graduate education in functional dry needling, a tool he often uses to treat various neuromuscular symptoms. Furthermore, he is one of the few physiotherapists in the Ottawa region trained in male pelvic health and can help men improve pelvic pain, function and recover from surgery, so they can get back to living life to the fullest.
