Sarah Royer

Psychotherapist

Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist with a MEd in Counselling Psychology from the

University of Ottawa as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science

from Carleton University.

Sarah’s has experience supporting teens and adults with emotional disruptions,

relationship difficulties, life changes, and general mental health concerns. Sarah has a

special interest in sports performance and high-performance psychology stemming from

her experiences as an elite athlete, coach, as well as her education. When working with

high performers she considers the overall mental health and well-being needs that are

present, while appreciating the potential impacts felt on their performance.

Sarah aims to build working relationships with her clients that reflect sincere, authentic

human connection and are collaborative in nature. She approaches client’s concerns in

a manner that sheds light on their strengths and resources, their potential for growth,

and aims to bring balance to their lives. Sessions are shaped by the client’s needs and

provide an open, flexible space that encourages them to bring up whatever they need in

that moment.
