Brigitte Roy

Athletic Therapist & Physician Assistant

Brigitte Roy graduated from the University of Toronto with Bachelor of Science Physician Assistant degree (BscPA), in 2014. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Applied Health (Athletic Therapy) where she has been working as a Certified Athletic Therapist in a variety of settings since 2008. She is currently certified with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants and the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association. Her current practice is primarily focused on concussion management and rehabilitation.

 

Physician Assistants (PAs) are health care professionals who work with physicians to provide health care. Under the overall supervision of a physician PAs take histories, conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care and more. A PA’s practice may also include education, research, and administration.
