Wendi Smith graduated with a Clinical Master in Manipulative Therapy from Western Ontario in 2011 and received her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario in 2004. She doubled majored at the University of Maine in Presque Isle and received a Bachelor of Science in Education and Athletic Therapy in 2002. Wendi’s Athletic Therapy internship hours were completed at Disney’s Wide World of Sport in Orlando Florida and she completed her Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of New Brunswick in 1999.
Wendi has been working and is a part owner at the Sports Therapy Clinic since 2013. Wendi is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), signifying that she has completed extensive post-graduate education in the area of orthopaedics and has achieved an internationally-recognized qualification in hands-on manual and manipulative therapy. Wendi currently assists with the instruction of the Orthopaedic level manipulative therapy post graduate courses as well as provide mentorship hours for FCAMPT candidates.
Wendi has experience in treating individuals of all ages and enjoys treating a wide range of ailments including sports, post-surgical, acute, chronic, and neurological injuries. She enjoys the challenge of helping her patients maximize their function and returning them to pre-injury status.
Wendi enjoys running, badminton and skiing.
